Relieve parking lot owners of any problem, thanks to a simple control of vehicle access based on the Cloud against small investments: this is the mission of 4XP Srl, an Italian company based in Modena that takes life from an idea of two entrepreneurs with 20 years of experience in the world of vehicle access control and services.
4XP offers devices equipped with IoT technology, connected to the cloud, in continuous communication with an operation center and technical team. This system ensures reduced parking personnel, proactive maintenance service, continuous operational safety and constant analysis of data related to parking activity.
The physical instrument for access control is four models of columns. Xmodule is a modular column for the management of vehicular access; Xmoduled is a double-sided model for the simultaneous management of the entrance and exit; Xmodulec, with two heights, is ideal for the management of high means and low means; Xmodules is the slim solution for simplified management.
The difference now is the XCloud system, which can provide a remote response to customers interacting with the columns. In addition to being ergonomic, the columns, whose installation includes a technical support, are all equipped with an easily configurable and easy-to-maintain interface, which allows you to keep any parking area open 24 hours on 24.
The areas of use are the most varied: but also parking areas of shopping malls, bathing establishments, hotels, universities, hospitals and public bodies.
The company’s network of private car parks now has several facilities, mainly concentrated in the Veneto region: it is managed with 4XP systems, for example, a parking lot located in Venice, at the cruise ship terminal, which includes 400 fully self-managed car spaces, without the presence of staff. A second example is a hotel in Mestre where the manager is present, but 4XP takes care of the online booking.
Another plus that distinguishes the service and that meets the needs of operators and end users is in fact the possibility to secure the parking space by booking it via app or desktop. Drivers can download the 4XP app on their smartphone or tablet. In this way, with a few “taps”, they have the opportunity to view available parking spaces in real time, book their own place and pay for the parking safely, through the most reliable online circuits.
On the front of parking management, it is clear that the solutions proposed by the company can generate great benefits. First, the ability to keep a car park open without staff gives the facility a great competitive advantage. The Cloud system provides real-time updates on the status of the columns and any technical problems, which can be immediately resolved; possible critical issues are reported in advance. Not only: system updates can be done conveniently remotely. Customers are offered two options: the first is a standard service, which does not require proactive maintenance by 4XP. If, for example, the receipt paper is running out, the system merely reports it in advance, but then the customer has to physically fill up. The XManagament service is completely “turnkey”, as it is the same technicians of 4XP to take care of the resolution of any problem. This means that the management of the parking is totally “no stress”: the owner only invests in the area, which is put on income 24 hours a day and without the slightest responsibility for management.
