Thanks to the latest generation 4XP parking stations and online booking system, you can now park in the rest areas of a major port in Veneto quickly and safely.

4XP Srl is a company based in Modena that takes life from an idea of two entrepreneurs with 20 years of experience in the world of vehicular access control and services.

4XP has installed the latest generation of new parking systems in the car parks of an important port area in the Venetian Lagoon. What are the goals? Respond to the need to modernize plants, be able to remotely monitor equipment and delegate management of the area.

The project involves the management of 2 main parking areas for a total capacity of about 1000 car spaces: in the first were installed 5 x-module columns, 2 in-entry and 3 out-exit columns, while in the second 2 double height columns, one on the entrance lane and one on the exit lane. To complete the installation, 4 cash machines were installed, two with payment both in cash and debit credit cards and two reserved for electronic payment only. Besides, a license plate recognition system has been implemented that, combined with the xBooking software for online reservations, allows you to streamline the most critical phases of entering and exiting the parking lot. 

The parking lots are controlled by a cloud software that allows you to have under control all reservations, scheduled arrivals and occupancy of seats in real time. In addition, xBooking , a web portal for online reservations, has been activated, which allows customers who have made their reservation online to save time at the entrance and exit of the parking lot, with the aim of simplifying traffic. A total of 7 license plate reading cameras were placed in both parking lots, each directly connected to the column and internal network infrastructure. This allows, if the customer has booked his stop online, to read and recognize in a few moments the license plate, link it to the reservation and allow access to the user, without showing any title.

For customers who have not booked online, 4 automatic checkout machines are still available. Two are dedicated entirely to electronic payments, while the remaining two are “hybrid” and have the possibility of both cash payment and various types of electronic payment.

But the real news is XManagement, a unique service thanks to which the management of the parking is completely delegated to 4XP operators, thus relieving the owner of the parking lot from any management commitment. XManagement is the service offered in Italy by 4XP, thanks to which the parking is fully automated, remotely controllable and entrusted to the 4XP operating center, available 24 hours on 24, 7 days a week. No parking personnel is required. The driver can request help through a special intercom in the column and 4XP staff will answer the manager’s place, supporting the user in interaction activities with the column. 

Each device is equipped with a self-diagnosis system, thanks to which it is able to independently check its operating status. In this way, the device is able to guarantee a preventive maintenance of each component at risk and the operating center of 4XP is able to intervene in a preventive manner avoiding suspensions of service. All consumables and spare parts required are included in the service.
