From 15 to 17 November 2023, Sicurezza, the leading event in Italy and reference point for security & fire operators from all over Europe, took place at FieraMilano (Rho). 4XP was present to propose the latest developments in vehicle access
370 exhibiting companies, tens of thousands of visitors and 120 hosted buyers from 36 different countries: these are the figures that confirm Sicurezza as a leading event in Italy and one of the main events in Europe in the security & fire sector. Digitalization, new smart systems, integrated and customized, together with the cross-sector theme of data security, were the common thread throughout the Milan event.

We interviewed Fabrizio Prandini, the CEO of 4XP, a dynamic person with a proactive and ambitious vision of the company.
How do you rate your experience at the fair overall?
«It was our first participation in this event and we are very satisfied. It was an opportunity to present the latest technologies to the market and strengthen business contacts with companies we already work with. The solutions have attracted a lot of public attention».
Did you achieve the goals you set for yourself by attending the event?
«Absolutely yes; we were convinced that we had created a complete and cutting-edge solution compared to our competitors and the public confirmed it».
How was the interaction with visitors at your booth?
«Visitors were very impressed by the technological proposal and the devices offered, showing such interest».
What were the topics or products that attracted the most interest?
«The cloud, then the possibility of having control of the parking completely remotely; our innovative service xManagement, or the management by us of the parking at 360 degrees, leaving the manager quiet from planned maintenance and extraordinary, night calls and driver assistance 24 hours».
Did you receive specific feedback from visitors that you find particularly useful?
«All comments are useful to improve the product and service every day. We had the opportunity to meet some of our customers and discuss together what could be the updates to the system in 2024. We believe that the winning point of every product is the continuous evolution according to the needs required by the market».
What do you think made you different from the other participants?
«Certainly the complete management of the area by our 24/7 control room. Having a specialized technician always allows the customer to be calm and always have a solution. Another thing is the cloud and remote management of the area that allows the operator and or the installer to have under control all the parameters of his interest wherever he is».
Are there any companies or professionals you are considering a partnership with?
«Our company is always open to new collaborations because we believe it is the winning point. We have had the opportunity to strengthen 4XP’s historical partnerships but also to learn about new scenarios and new technologies to integrate into the world of parking».
How do you imagine your sector will evolve over the next 10 years?
«The smart parking sector and, more generally, smart mobility will certainly continue to evolve and grow exponentially. More and more operators and public authorities are investing in “smart parking” integrating the classic barrier system, also cameras for reading plates, contactless payment systems directly in lane, sensors buried to know the state of occupation of each stall».
